Hi guys, I have been sniffing many fragrances at the mall recently. I felt
overwhelmed with the large selections of designer's fragrances. I was
wondering if KP members would be so kind enough to share their favorite
perfume or cologne on this forum. So what are you fume heads waiting for?
Post your opinions!
P.S. --- I can't wait to read the responses!

Interesting selection... but I have yet to sample the ones you have listed.
I am in love with "CHLOE" -- so floral and clean scent. After a few hours
on my skin, it smelled like soap or powder. I absolutely adore the
packaging, which is girlie, yet so sophisticated. Simple rectangle bottle
with a cute bow tie. This new scent will be one of my favorite every day
wear.
I have been sampling Amouge collection. It is a rare find! Amouge Tribute
Attar is so expensive -- $350 for 15 milliliter bottle or $650 for 30 mL.
Definitely will add this scent to my perfume collection. Another one I
have been trying to sample is Clive Christian X ($355 for a 1.7 oz bottle)!
This is the cheapest price I can find. Two other ones that I have yet to
get my hands on are: Stoned and Cannabis Rose. Someday I will check out
Sephora for Cannabis Rose... but Stoned is a rare gem... I believe it is
over $285 per bottle.

| These are the scents I am using at the moment : Ja'dore by Christian
Dior,Butterfly by Mariah Carey and little perfume miniatures by Elizabeth
Arden oh and Tresor by Lancome. Can't go wrong with these scents, they
smells so beautiful, not too strong and lasts for a very long time also they
don't put a hole in your pocket either. Hate anything by Oscar De La Renta
and Gucci. Hope that helps. ____________________ Heaven is a place on Earth!! |

Heavenly, I think we have similar taste. I have a bottle of Ja'dore and
Tresor. I sampled Luscious Pink by M. Carey the other day. It is a soft,
floral light scent which is good for spring and summer day time wear. I
bought Mariah's "M" a few months ago, and I wore it twice. I think it is
appropriate for evening. Not too crazy about it though.
I wish Chanel offer COROMANDEL sample, but this specific fragrance is
exclusive and is only available online or at Chanel Boutique store. I
don't want to buy it blindly since it is $200 a bottle! Someone outbid me
on eBay for a Coromandel sample last month. What a disappointment! Another
fragrance that I wanted to sample is Chanel Cristalle -- which may be
available at some department stores. Will add these 2 fragrances to my
Chanel collection sometime in the future.

What type of body lotion do you use? Some people are very sensitive to
perfumes or colognes. Although I like perfumes (I have close to 60 bottles)
-- some of the perfumes that I don't own gave me headaches. I think most
perfume contains patchouli and jasmine notes. Too much of jasmine or
patchouli causes headache. Also, people have different body chemistry. So
the scent you smelled on a piece of paper may be entirely different on the
skin.
If you don't want to offend people of your smell, you can spray the perfume
in the air and walk into it. This way you won't smell like you bathe in the
perfume.

Hi Beauti... thank you for your input. I have experienced Issey Miyake,
and I think it is a pretty good, refreshing fragrance. I bought a bottle
not too long ago, and will definitely re-visit Issey soon!
