Help a birthday wish come true by donating to The Cambodia Project. The goal is to raise money for his birthday wish, so far everyone donated $285. Every dollar counts, take action and help build the future of our motherland ^_^.

The Cambodia Project

"Mission: Building Sustainable Communities through Secondary Education"

"Our Mission: The Cambodia Project works with local communities and NGOs to provide innovative school models, high quality education, and better-trained teachers that ultimately offer students increased opportunity. In addition to an excellent standard of education, we offer comprehensive healthcare programs and green technology for school construction. Based on this model, each school will become financially sustainable, self‐reliant, and locally managed after year four. The Need: During the Khmer Rouge genocide, an entire generation of educators was murdered; the academic infrastructure and professional culture were destroyed. Today, Cambodia is the 4th poorest country in the world and 131st out of 177 countries on the Human Development Index. The need for reform in education is especially pressing among secondary school children where only 30% of boys and 22% of girls are currently enrolled. The Cambodian government, NGOs and UN agencies, while focusing on primary education, do not expend much energy on secondary education, which is critical for improving Cambodia’s human resource base and bridging economic growth and social development."
