A friend of mine, has cousins in Phnom Penh. They took their only son, 5, to a clinic for headache and vomiting. The son told the parent to tell the doctor to not give him shot because he's afraid of needles. They sat and waited for 4 hrs. The doc came out and told their son is dead. They cried and took the son home, and later found stitches on his stomach and later found out that they took his kidney and other parts.

These are poor folks who did not report to the cop or the NGO. The cousins from the US is heading to Cambodia now, very upset of course. Please warn your cousins in PP. I think they are learning from the Chinese docs, they steal body parts. If I was the dad I would have a gun or a sword and do some damage at the clinic.

Is this really happening in PP?If it is so that is so sickening how another human being can do that to another human being? Then again I am not surprised anything possible in the seedy world of Phnom Penh.

I was told it's more common than I expect. As I was told these are Chinese doctors, not Khmer, working in small clinics, not in the hospital. Patients going to clinics are considered rich, and not look down upon by others, because at the clinic you will be seen right away by a 'doctor', you don't have to wait like in the hospitals. So warn your cousins about these clinics.
